About Us
Meet Nicole Byrd, the heart behind October Elephant Art. With a Bachelor’s in Education from Iowa State University, Nicole previously taught theatre at Junior Theatre in Davenport, IA. As a mother of six and an active community member, she dreamed of creating a children’s theatre company to inspire creativity and joy. Founded in 2024, October Elephant Art is her vision come to life, fostering a love for the arts in children across Ankeny and surrounding areas.
